I'm stalling again. That history paper isn't going to write itself. I've got story ideas up the whazoo and I can't do a thing about it 'til after Tuesday. I think this journal is here as an attempt to convince myself that I do have a creative process somewhere inside begging to be let out. Ah well. That's just how things go. I'm in a racy mood actually. I hope it won't find its way onto my paper.

The exposure of East Asia to Western societal norms is marked by the luscious, dogged attempts of the masses to initiate sweaty and stiff uprisings and reform. In attempts to emulate a modernized Western model, the Japanese engaged in a heated menage a trois with China and Korea, the former taking on the status as unrelenting rival and the later as the perfect uke, feisty yet pure and untainted in its Confucian garb when struggling against the domination of its seme-like neighbors, European and Asian alike...

That'll get me an A for sure...

So, instead of writing my response paper like a good girl, I've decided to write a few lines about this new journal I've started.

There's only a few days left in October and then it'll be November, which means...

NANOWRIMO TIME!!!

I think I've decided to attempt it this year...but with a few changes. Instead of writing a novel, my goal will be to write an equivalent of a novel in the form of short stories, drabbles, blurbs, fanfic, etc. And at the end of November when NaNoWriMo is over, this will become a place for me to dump fanfic. Original fic will probably be moved to my website.

I plan on writing in various fandoms and genres...so...I'll be tagging and friend-locking as the situation arises. So get ready for erogoro, yaoi, angst, humor, fluff, crack...I'm very ambitious this year!

MmmMmm...so get ready! It's going to be a blast! (Yes, yes! I will be very very energetic for this!)

And let me know what you'd like to be tagged for...or if you want to be brave and read it all!
